Simple Minds this morning announced the release of Big Music — the band’s first new studio album in five years, and 17th overall — on Nov. 3, plus plans to spend much of the first quarter of 2015 on the road in support of the record, with a nearly 60-date tour of Europe and the U.K. planned from February into May.
The band didn’t release any details yet of the album — which follows 2009’s Graffiti Soul — although it presumably will include the song “Blindfolded,” which was debuted earlier this month (see video for “Blindfolded”).
A special U.K. ticket-and-album-bundle presale begins at SimpleMinds.com on 10 a.m. Wednesday, with general on-sale of all tour dates following at 10 a.m. Friday.
