The reunited Magazine — the post-punk act that Howard Devoto formed in 1977 after leaving the Buzzcocks — is poised to this week release No Thyself, the band’s fifth studio album and first in 30 years, before embarking on a short U.K. tour this November.
Due out Monday in the U.K. and Nov. 22 in the U.S., No Thyself was recorded by Devoto and original/early members John Doyle (drums) and Dave Formula (keyboards), with Apollo 440’s Neko replacing the late John McGeoch on guitar and Jon White filling in on bass for Barry Adamson, who played with Magazine after the band reunited in 2009 but didn’t participate in the recording.
To promote No Thyself, Magazine will embark on a nine-date U.K. tour, beginning Nov. 1 in Bath and wrapping up Nov. 10 in London (see dates below). It’s not known if further touring is planned.

Hey Howard, while you’re at it… I’d be down for a Luxuria reunion too.
Did anyone else look at that cover and see a disturbingly stylized vagina?
