With his fall North American tour now underway, former Depeche Mode member Alan Wilder today offered up a free Recoil multimedia EP — Want: The Architect Mixes, featuring music, photos and video — that fans can download from Mute Records in exchange for a name and e-mail address.
The EP features three mixes of 2000’s “Want” by Wilder’s tourmate Architect, aka German electronic artist Daniel Myer, that were commissioned for this year’s Recoil best-of, Selected. The EP also includes a video of the track by Dmitry Semenov (seen above), a mix of “Jezebel” by Ehron VonAllen and “Recoil: A Strange Hour,” a photographic book by Ivana Dvorska. The music is available in MP3, WAV, FLAC or Apple Lossless formats.
