Following their upcoming April dates opening for the reunited Spandau Ballet in Australia, Tears For Fears will return to North America late this summer for a headlining tour of their own, with at least 17 concerts announced so far in the Eastern U.S. and Canada — including a pair of free performances. On his blog, bandmember Curt Smith notes “there may be more dates.” TFF recently played a Los Angeles concert to warm up for the Down Under shows, plus the duo’s own headlining concerts in Hong Kong, Taiwan and the Philippines in May.
